League Cup
BSU18 Rangers came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 with goals from Ricky Walsh, Neil Brooks and Sam Pringle to reach the final of the Under 18 League Cup.
Elsewhere other BSCFC teams progressed to Semi-Finals of their respective age groups. Ross Bristow scored the winner for BSU16 Colts in a 1-0 win at Potton Colts and BSU16 Town joined their clubmates in the draw by beating Royston Colts 4-2 with two goals each from Chris Hill and Adam Cruz. BSU15 Town needed extra time to beat league leaders Letchworth Royals 3-1 with goals from Josh Spavins, Mark Gerlis and Michael Fishenden.
BSU11 Town beat Pin Green 5-1 with goals from Harry Synowski 2,Harry Westcott,Kieran Amos and Jack Isherwood to set up a quarter-final clash with clubmates BSU11 Athletic. Despite a battling performance BSU16 Girls lost to Hoddesdon Owls 4-3 (Jess Mace, Hannah Mead and Hayley Graham with the goals).
League
In League action BSU18 Swifts thrashed Knebworth 10-0 with goals from Mark Reed 3, Zeeshan Ahmed 3, Jack Kelly 2, Joe Johnson and Dan Latchford. Josh Prio scored for BSU15 Athletic but they lost 5-1 to Baldock Lancers. BSU14 Town beat Potton 6-0, BSU14 Northolt lost 5-0 to Symonds Green and Lawrence Morris scored the winner for BSU14 Rovers in a 1-0 win over Royston Celtic. BSU13 Town drew 0-0 with Baldock Town at the top of Division 1 but BSU13 Wanderers lost 2-0 to Letchworth Whites in Division 3. Siobhan Jones scored for BSU13 Girls in a 1-1 draw with St Neots.
In Division 2 BSU12 Athletic lost 2-0 to Symonds Green and, in the same Division, BSU12 Park won 4-2 against with goals from Liam Dotson, Calum White, Michael Collins and James Harvey Corey Scraggs scored for BSU12 Athletic Youth but Potton eventually won 4-1 and and BSU12 Girls beat Bassingbourn 6-0 (Beth Gostelow scoring 4 and Mary Lisle 2). Freddy Monks 2, .Micheal Awolona 2 and Tom Burslem scored for BSU11 Rangers in a 5-0 win over Baldock Knights.
BSU10 Rangers lost 1-0 to Knebworth, Jamie Powter and Dan Williams scored for BSU10 Rovers in a 2-2 draw with Buntingford “A” and Jordan Godfrey scored 2 and Emmanuel Enemokwu one for BSU10 Wanderers in a 3-3 draw with Buntingford “B”. BSU10 Athletic lost 4-0 to Baldock Knights but BSU10 Colts beat Baldock Lancers 4-1 with goals from Ryan King 2, Toby Dellow and Tom Johnson.
BSU9 Wanderers overcame Stevenage Town A 3-0 with goals from Freddie Pope(2) and a James Baughurst penalty and BSU9 Knights beat Stevenage Town B 6-0 with goals from Jimmy Dalton (4) and Ewan Rockall (2). |
