Congratulations to the BSU12 Girls side who reached the Cambridge Girls League Cup final with a 2-0 win over Saffron Walden with 2 goals from Beth Gostelow. In the Essex Girls League Spring Plate Competition BSU16 Girls beat Ekco Whitecaps 4-2 (Hayley Graham 2, Jess Mace 2).

BSU18 Swifts lost 3-0 against Hitchin Town to virtually rule out any chance of winning the League. George Sydes scored for BSU17 Rangers in a 1-0 win over Wymondley Park in a Cup Final dress rehearsal. Harry Merton scored directly from a corner and James Leung scored 2 more to keep BSU16 Colts top of the table with a 3-1 win over Harlow Town. Tom Jakobs (2), Josh Spavins and Charlie Bland goals kept BSU15 Town in contention at the top of Division 1. BSU15 Rangers lost 6-0 to New Hall Rangers in the same Division and, in Division 2, Craig Noonan scored for BSU15 Athletic in a 1-1 draw with Stansted.
James Dann and Joe White goals helped BSU14 Rangers to a 2-2 draw with Arlesey Town. In Division 2 Sam Burridge but BSU14 Northolt lost 2-1 to Broadhall Youth and in Division 4 George Brace scored for BSU14 Athletic in a 2-1 defeat against Potton Colts and BSU14 Rovers lost 4-0 to Baldock Knights.
Will Ekong scored for top of the table BSU13 Town who beat second placed Fairlands 1-0. In Division 2 BSU13 Athletic lost 2-0 to Royston. In Division 3 another 2 David Awomolo goals and one from Taylor Barnett helped BSU13 Wanderers to a 3-1 win over Symonds Green and Joe Francis and Bartosz Tomasik scored the goals for BSU13 Rangers who drew 2-2 with Stotfold. A depleted BSU13 Rovers side lost 11-0 to Arlesey. BSU13 Girls won 3-1 at Walden Spirit with goals from Sara Robson (2) and Rosie Bullot.
Luke Port scored a consolation for BSU12 Town in a 5-1 defeat at Royston Town. In Division 2 BSU12 Athletic drew 0-0 with Stotfold and Michael Collins and John Lynch scored 2 each for BSU12 Park in a 4-2 win over Pin Green. In Division 3 BSU12 Athletic Youth lost 3-2 (Max Steele and Nicky Summerford scoring) whilst BSU12 Rovers lost 6-0 to Baldock Crusaders. Ewan McNaughton scored again for BSU12 Rangers in a 2-2 draw with Symonds Green (Tom Plattern scored the other).
Jack Isherwood 2, Ben Patrick, Harry Synowski, Jamie Brewer, Perry Spencer and Kieran Amos scored the goals as BSU11 Town thrashed Melbourn 7-0. In Division 2 Alex Gardiner scored for BSU11 Athletic in a 1-1 draw with leaders Letchworth Yellows and Jack Staines and a Will Lane penalty were not enough for BSU11 Blues who lost 3-2 to Royston. BSU11 Rangers clinched promotion from Division 3 with a 6-0 win over Broadhall Youth (Charlie Anthony 3, Austin King, James Ambrose and Tom Culpin scoring). In Division 4 BSU11 Rovers still lead the way with a 6-1 win over Elsenham Youth (Hayden Smith 2, Robert Conner, William Snook, Ross Paul and and OG).
BSU10 Town lost 2-0 to Royston Town “A” and BSU10 Rangers drew 2-2 with Royston Town “B”. Two goals from Sam Marshall and one from Jamie Powter gave BSU10 Rovers the points in a 3-2 win over leaders St Neots Blues and BSU10 Wanderers became the first team to beat St Neots Whites with a 4-1 win – goals from Emmanuel Enemokwu (2), Sam Grant and Jimmy Ball. BSU10 Athletic lost 3-1 to Stevenage Tigers and BSU10 Colts won 5-0 against Stevenage Bluess with goals from Harry Wright 2, Sam Marrow 2, Ryan King. |
