Herts County Cup
BSU17 Colts found the Age gap too big and lost 5-1 to Harvesters Under 18s. BSU16 Athletic Youth maintained their interest with a 6-3 win over Bovingdon to progress to the last 16. Connor Stewart 4, Rhys Watkins, Joe Brough, Jack Joseph, Matthew Gill and Bartosz Tomasik scored for BSU14 in a 9-1 win over Chorleywood. BSU14 Girls lost 3-0 at Garston Ladies in the Quarter-Final. Liam Dean and Harry Synowski sacored for BSU12 Town but they lost 4-2 against Potters Bar. At Under 10 BSCFC have 3 teams in the last 16. BSU10 Town beat Cuffley 2-0 to progress and BSU10 Rangers beat Broxborne 4-1 to make the last 16 and join BSU10 Wanderers who went through last weekend.

At the Under 15 Age group three teams progressed; Tom Reed 3, Archie Webb 2, Connor Bennett 2, Lloyd Hammet and Simon Rolando scored for BSU15 Town in a 9-1 win over Royston Celtic, Joe White, Alex Bright, James Dann 2, David Czerkas and an own goal helped BSU15 Rangers to a 6-1 win over Sawbridgeworth and Tom Hollamby hit 6, with Sam Burridge scoring the other as BSU15 Northolt beat Austen Arrowheads 7-2.
League
BSU17 Girls lost 5-3 at Brentwood Town despite goals from Jess Mace (2) and Hannah Mead. In the Eastern Junior Alliance Sawbridgweworth U16 lost 1-0 to Eton Manor and BSU16 Rangers 3-0 to Bedwell. At Under 14 BSU14 Franco Vago beat hapless Weston Wanderers 22-0 Kurtis Bond scored 10 goals Tom Pardoe and Ryan Collier 5 each and Jack Davis and Jeff Wiltshire one each. BSU14 Town lost 10-0 to Maypole, BSU14 Athletic beat Saturn 7-1 and Joe Francis 3, Joe Sibbald , Ben Fuller and Myles Barnett scored for BSU14 Rangers in a 6-4 win over Symonds Green.
BSU13 Town won 8-1 at Fairlands with another 6 goals from the prolific Jacob Ryan (26 goals in 13 matches so far this season), a first for the Club for Kai Pearson and an own goal, Amber-Louise Prince, Stacey Mercer, Beth Gostelow 4 and Elle Georgiou 2 goals gave BSU13 Girls an 8-0 win over Aztecs – to go into the Winder break unbeaten in all competitions, BSU13 Athletic beat Symonds Green 7-1 Tom Button (3 - 2 pen), David Evans 2. Ed Connor 2 and BSU13 Park lost 2-1 to Buntingford (Michael Collins scoring). Adam Howell scored as BSU13 Athletic Youth drew 1-1 with Hormead Hares and Joe Groom, Dan Smith, Josh Pearce and an OG helped BSU13 Rovers to a 4-3 win in a tight match at the top of Division 4 over Stevenage Colts.
BSU12 Athletic beat Hormead Hares 1-0, BSU12 Rovers beat BSU12 Blues 3-0 with Hayden Smith, Lewis Griffiths and William Snook scoring. BSU12 United lost 4-0 at Broadhall. BSU12 Wanderers lost 5-1 at Epping.
Abigail Stevens scored both but the whole team were superb as BSU11 Girls team beat Peterborough Diamonds 2-1 in the Cambridge Girls League. Zac Veitch, Josh Abegglen & Dan Williams scored for BSU11 Town in a 3-3 draw with Royston, BSU11 Athletic lost 8-0 against Hitchin Town, BSU11 Rovers drew 1-1 at Melbourn and BSU11 Rangers lost 7-3 at top of the table Stansted.
Ewan Rockell scored for BSU10 Knights against Hatfield Yellows and Sacha Borg and Charlie O’Connor for BSU10 Wanderers against Hatfield Greens. BSU10 Rovers lost 1-0 to Bedwell Ajax and BSU10 United 3-0 to Bedwell Inter. |
