Herts County Cup

Two BSFC (Youth) sides played in, and lost, in the Second Round of this seasons Herts FA U15 County Cup. David Evans scored for BSU15 Athletic in a 4-1 defeat at Hoddesdon whilst James Harvey scored the consolation for BSU15 Park in a 4-1 defeat at Comet.



Eastern Junior Alliance (EJA)

In the EJA BS U18 (Herts) squad travelled to Broxbourne and won 6-1 with goals from Sheldon Sellears (2), Elliot King (2), Ali Ylidirim and Lewis Edwards meanwhile BS U18 (Suffolk) beat Heybridge Swifts 3-1 with goals from Mark Robinson, Paddy Hannaway and Abu Somu. BSFC (Youth) U16s lost 2-1 at Stansted – Joe Brough scoring and, in the League Cup Preliminary Round the Under 14s lost 3-2 to Boca Mountnessing – goals coming from Liam Dean and Olly Dent.



Cambridge Girls League

Siobhan Jones 4, Alex Brewer 2, Rachel Wilson and Sara Robson scored for BSFC (Youth) Under 16 Girls side in an 8-0 win at Peterborough, Cup holders BSFC (Youth) U15 Girls progressed into the next round of the cup beating Alconbury Colts 5-3 in an exciting game. Mary Lisle opened the scoring with a fine individual finish. Player of the match Emma Taylor bagged her first hat trick for the team whilst Captain Beth Gostelow capped an excellent performance with a sublime volley and a contender for goal of the season.

BS U12 Girls ended their 1st Round Cambridgeshire FA League Cup match comprehensive victors following a flowing confident display against Burwell Swallows. Their 8-1 victory included hat-tricks for Tia Dye and debutant Simran Sunda, with the other goals coming from Abigail Stevens and Abby Springham. BS U13 Girls were also victorious, winning 3-1 at home in the league, their goals coming from Hannah Ingrey, Pia Del Basso and Emily Harvey whilst Angela Stockman produced another immense display in goal.



Royston Crow League - League

In the Royston Crow League BS U18 Town beat Hitchin 3-2. BSU17 Town lost 4-1 at Arlesey (Josh Allen penalty), BSU17 Northolt beat Stotfold 3-2 - goals from James Dann (2) and Sean Talbot. BS U16 Town beat Symonds Green 4-2 (Jack Fenner, Brandon Benton, Harrison Hall, Joe Watts). BSU16 Rovers beat Buntingford 4-1 helped by goals from Bradley Dumont, Ollie Dingle, Joe Sibbald and Jorge Poole. BSU15 Rovers beat Stanstead 2-1 with goals from Connor Copeland and James Lobb.



BSU14 Rovers lost 3-2 against Letchworth Yellows (goals from David Garwood and Alex Gardner), BSU14 Blues beat Arlesey 6-0 (3 goals from Jordan Sanderson, Mark Redcliffe 2 and Jordan Powles), BSU14 Athletic beat Buntingford 6-1 – goals coming from Luca Follesa, Jake Padgett, Jake Chapman, Michael Awomolo, Alex Hall and Zachary Elson. In Division 3; BSU13 Athletic lost 11-1 against high flying Elsenham and in Division 4 BSU13 Rovers lost 7-0 against Markhall.



A Tommy Yates hat-trick plus goals from Harry Bovington, Harry Wright and Arun Melville helped BSU12 Town to a 6-0 win over Biggleswade and, also in Division 1, BSU12 Rangers beat Wymodley 4-0 with goals from George O’Neill (2), Harry Feest and Kai Campbell. In Division 2 James Grout scored a consolation for BSU12 Colts who lost 5-1 against Hatfield Youth and in Division 3 a Charlie Upton double helped BSU12 Wanderers draw 2-2 with Symonds Greed. In Division 4 BSU12 Rovers beat Biggleswade 4-0 – goals from George Wagstaff, Sam Kolarik, Jack Kelly and Will Hogan whilst BSU12 Athletic lost 3-2 against LGCE Yellows despite goals from Kieran Rutherford and Brandan Radford.



BSU11 Town beat LGCE Golds 3-1 (Lewis Pigott with 2 and Matt Foster the other. BSU11 Athletic lost 2-1 against LGCE Blues (Aaron Fitzsimmons with the goal). Also in Division 2 BSU11 Blues lost 4-1 against Knebworth – Alex Wilkins with the goal. In Division 3 - BSU11 Colts lost 6-1 against Manuden (Shane Meecham with the goal) but BSU11 Rangers beat Bedwell 5-0 with goals from Eliot Fryer, Jake Brett, Ted Dean and two from Liam Holly.



BS U10 Town beat LGCE Blues 2-0 (Will Hodge and a Coby Miles penalty) and Nick Randall and two from Ben Warman (including a penalty) helped BSU10 Athletic to a 3-0 win over LGCE Reds. BS U10 Rangers beat Bedwell 2-0 – goals from Casey Williams and Jay Payze but with a superb goalkeeping performance from Matthew Jones and BS U10 Rovers lost 4-2 against Bedwell – both Storford goals coming from Harry Allanson but Max Hitch was excellent in defence. BSU10 United beat Sawbridgeworth “A” 2-0 and BSU10 Wanderers drew 2-2 with Sawbridgeworths “B” side.
